I want to launch my blog by introducing readers to my Sunday Reset Routine. Every Sunday I love refreshing my week so I'm better prepared and ready to take on the upcoming week, so let's walk you through my day. First, I wake up around 4:30 am to get ready for work and usually don't get home until 12-12:30 pm, then that's when the real routine begins. After a much-needed lunch, I plan out my chores for the day, then I usually get my dirty laundry together, and start a couple of loads. While my laundry is going I tidy my room plus my desk gives my entire room a clean feel and it helps make me personally feel put together. Once my room is clean I move on to harder chores like cleaning the kitchen and bathroom and give those a hard scrub and lots of attention. By that time my laundry is done so I fold and put it away while watching a show or movie my favorite is Abbot Elementary. Once my clothes are put away I take some time and journal as well as plan out my week ahead of time. Journaling helps me have an overview of the week and see where I can fit my plans whether it’s work or family time. I used to have a lot of issues with time management but ever since I started journaling and using a planner I have become more efficient at blocking time out for my day. Having a planner helps me make sure I am not overworking myself. After some time reading or lounging around, I do the most relaxing “everything shower” to help me wind down and get ready for bed. Lastly, before I hop in bed and pull out my Kindle to read, I do some skincare to give my skin some healthy attention. That right there is what my Sunday Reset Routine usually looks like!
